Our story is truly the story of God working in the lives of numerous individuals.

By God’s grace, we will continually be committed to live on mission and proclaim the glorious gospel of Christ.

A church planting missions’ trip to Salt Lake City in 2012 was our starting point.

God was doing an amazing work in SLC at a young church called “Gospel Grace Church”. He was using the leaders to have a profound impact on that community and other individuals who participated on the church planting trips. Little did we know, seeds were being planting in the hearts of a few different people to prayerfully be open to plant a church. In the years to come, a few more individuals went on similar trips back to SLC as well as Detroit. With each trip, a growing burden and desire took shape, particularly within the heart of the Gospel Grace Leadership Team (Mike Foley, Hack McPhee, & Mike Scheonrock).

What started as an exciting teen road trip across the country has expanded into a great burden to establish more Gospel-centered, Christ-saturated churches. In the Spring of 2021, these three men began to pray and become more open to God’s perfect plan. These men served faithfully at Noblesville Baptist Church, where the church invested and helped to joyfully send them out be a part of staring new church. Throughout that time, God  raised up more individuals to link arms and serve in this new partnership together.

As a result of meeting in small groups, coffee shop conversations, and biblical counseling God was tilling the ground in numerous hearts to be more open to living on mission. In December 2021, clarity was given to plant a local church within central Indiana. By March 2022, we set our sights on the growing region of Fishers, Fortville, Ingalls, & Pendleton. While we praise God for other gospel preaching churches in Fishers, there remains a growing need for additional healthy churches as many additional subdivisions are developed beyond the borders.

The leadership of Gospel Grace explored numerous meeting locations, and settled on a one-year commitment at HIJH. In January of 2023, a VIP Meeting (Vision, Information, & Prayer) was held to provide insight to the community in regards to Gospel Grace Church. Over the next few months, the committed families would gather to prepare and pray for the official launch of Gospel Grace Church in September of 2023.

While in many regards this is just the first chapter, we look forward to the following chapters as God continues to write his story, by His grace, for His glory, and for our good.
